At Depaul UK we support almost 2,000 of the most vulnerable young people in this country who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We provide accommodation that offers an immediate answer to homelessness, longer term supported accommodation, prevention programmes, employment advice and family mediation.

While Covid-19 impacts all our lives, many of the people we work with are already vulnerable, and are now at risk further because of the pandemic.

We are working tirelessly to do everything we can to minimise that risk.

The most important thing for us remains the safety and wellbeing of the young people we serve and the staff who support them. Our staff across the country are working to keep our client group informed and equipped to look after themselves and others – while continuing to support them in their housing, finances, benefits, education and employment.

At this anxious time, we appreciate our dedicated and caring staff who are facing uncertainty every day. We also want to thank the Nightstop volunteers still welcoming young people into their homes to keep them safe under these extraordinary circumstances.

Homelessness accommodation services face unprecedented challenges as our costs increase and uncertainly around our income grows. That’s why it is vital that we continue to raise funds, sharing stories about the work that we’re doing with you, our wonderful supporters. If you’d like to donate today and support our vital work, you can do so here.

Thank you for your support at this trying time, from all of us at Depaul UK.
