When Jack's Nana died, his family fell apart, and he became homeless. Her passing led to a massive feud and the family split. Thankfully, Jack was referred to Depaul UK, where he was able to move into supported accommodation and start attending well-being sessions. These sessions helped him to improve his mental health and confidence, and he began to feel that he was in a safe place.
Ali, 21, who recently secured a £2,000 Inspire grant to buy the tools he needs to start his career as an electrician. After his foster placement ended, Ali, a refugee from Sudan who arrived in England on his own at just 15, moved into our supported accommodation services and worked hard to qualify as an electrician.
Lewis, 21 didn't have an easy start in life. He was placed in care at a young age, then lived with his grandma until she died, then his mum on and off until he was 17. Since being referred to Depaul UK so much has changed for the better, and for the first time he now plans for the future.
