We work to end homelessness and change the lives of those affected by it.

Every experience of homelessness is different. We offer a range of services that can be shaped for the unique needs and experiences of each young person we work with.  

• Early intervention services: Tackling issues early through family mediation and education workshops in schools. 
• Emergency accommodation: Preventing homelessness by offering a safe place to stay in a crisis through our Nightstop network.  
• Longer-term supported accommodation: Providing a stable place to call home alongside tailored support to improve wellbeing and develop the skills needed for independent living. 
• Wrap–around support programmes: Empowering young people with the skills and confidence to build resilience, fulfil their potential and contribute to their community. 

How we do it

Homelessness is a complex and constantly evolving challenge. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ solution, which is why our approach to ending homelessness is:   

• Person-centred: We tailor our support to the individual – their strengths, needs and goals – recognising there’s no single path to a brighter future. 
• Trauma-informed: We understand the impact of trauma and create safe, consistent and trusting environments where young people can move forward with their lives. 
• Led by lived experience: Young people play an active role in our decision making – shaping services, framing polices, influencing processes – challenging assumptions and guiding what comes next.
  
• Evidence-based: Everything we do is rooted in what works, drawing on data, research and insight to deliver positive outcomes for those we work with.

Our strategic objectives

Our 2026–30 strategy focuses on stopping homelessness before it starts, preventing people from returning to homelessness, and ensuring everyone has a place to call home and a stake in their community.

• Prevention: Prevent homelessness by providing the skills and support people need for a stable future.

  People on the margins: Reach and support people who face barriers to mainstream homelessness services.

• People first: Empower our workforce to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

• Accessibility for all: Remove barriers and ensure inclusive, accessible support for everyone.

• Integrated funding: Combine funding sources to deliver effective programmes that prevent and end homelessness.
