2020 has been an incredibly tough year for the tens of thousands of young people across the country experiencing homelessness.

We’re looking to you for inspiration; today we’re asking you to take a few moments to help us #ShareHope with the young people we support.

How you can help

  • Tell us what gives you hope with a heartfelt message via our Facebook page, by sharing with the hashtag #ShareHope and tagging us on Twitter or Instagram or by filling in the form below.

  • Share our symbol of hope and solidarity with people facing homelessness in your window. Your orange heart can be drawn, painted, knitted, photographed or created in post-it notes!

  • Help us to nurture hope in vulnerable young people with a donation. By working closely with young people facing homelessness, we can give them the tools and support they need to escape homelessness – but we need your support to do this. Just £25 could provide the hope of a brighter future, starting with a safe bed for the night, a listening ear and basic toiletries for a young person experiencing homelessness.

Bella's story

“I was at rock bottom, the lowest you could ever get.” – Bella (now 21)

Bella was referred to Depaul UK after violent arguments with an abusive partner led to her being evicted from her property. She’d been in and out of supported accommodation since leaving care at 16 and was struggling to cope. All her ambitions, her hopes and dreams, were stuck on hold. Through Depaul UK, Bella found a safe place to stay, support with learning to live independently, and the confidence to share and then pursue her goal of a career in beauty therapy.

Now she’s flourishing – and full of hope for a brighter future. And all this is possible thanks to supporters like you.
