Emma’s story

Emma, 23, became homeless after an abusive relationship fell apart while they were studying at university. They sofa-surfed for a while, but their mental health soon began to deteriorate. They were then referred to our services and found a safe and stable place to call home.

Alex’s story

Alex lives in supported accommodation, and has recently learnt to shop and cook for himself. It might sound simple enough, but it's a huge step for a young man who was abused as a child and slept on the streets from the age of 16.

Ruth has just been accepted for a PHD at Cambridge University and now has a safe place to stay in supported accommodation. Her story is an unusual one. After growing up in a loving home, Ruth’s family was torn apart when her absent dad sold their home, forcing Ruth onto the streets.
