In 2023, homelessness continued to rise at an alarming rate. Nearly 136,000 young people turned to local authorities for help, and rough sleeping also increased by 27 percent across England.
The cost-of-living crisis and the long shadow of the pandemic deepened the challenges we face. Demand for our services grew significantly, along with the complexity of need.
In response, we implemented organisational changes to secure our long-term sustainability and expanded key services, including new accommodation in Cheshire, Lambeth, and Salford.
