Our partnership with people’s postcode lottery

Since 2013, players of People’s Postcode Lottery (PPL) have supported Depaul UK, raising over £25 million to help young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Their long-term commitment makes them one of our most significant and strategic funders, allowing us to plan ahead, grow as a charity, and reach more young people.

The impact of players of the people’s postcode lottery

Thanks to the generosity of players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, we support thousands of young people each year. In 2024 alone, we worked with over 11,000 young people—supporting and empowering them to find safe and stable housing, opportunities to thrive, and hope for a brighter future.

This vital funding means we can run vital service such as:

  • Nightstop, our emergency accommodation service, which prevents homelessness by offering a safe place to stay to a young person in crisis.
  • Early intervention programmes, which means we can tackle issues early through family mediation and education workshops in schools.
  • Wraparound support programmes that provide emotional support and empower young people with the skills and confidence to build resilience, fulfil their potential and contribute to their community.
  • Client involvement, which ensures young people with lived experience are embedded across our work – from designing and delivering services to influencing decisions and shaping national policy.
