This year marks £20m in support over ten years from The Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. The generous funding has enabled Depaul UK to provide life-changing support to young people across the country who are at risk of homelessness. In 2022, this funding helped us to provide 7,522 bed nights across the UK, reach 5,045 people through our education programme, and find 740 young people long-term accommodation.

“Thank you Postcode Lottery and to the Players of the Postcode Lottery, you’ve really made the difference.” Alexia Murphy, Interim CEO, Depaul UK

Charlie, 18 was supported by Nightstop
Charlie is just one of the thousands young people we have supported out of homelessness through Nightstop.

He first became homeless at 16 years old after the relationship with his mum broke down. He stayed up in late night cafes and slept at a bus station to keep safe.

After contacting Nightstop he was able to turn his life around. Charlie is now in his own accommodation and in full time employment.
