What is Nightstop?

Nightstop MK offers emergency accommodation to young people facing homelessness. This accommodation is in the homes of trained and vetted volunteers, who are supported by professional staff 24/7.

The community-focused approach provides a safe and welcoming environment for guests. This is usually a more beneficial environment for young people than traditional homeless shelters and emergency accommodation.

The national Nightstop Network comprises of over 30 services across the UK and is run by national homelessness charity Depaul UK. Hosts come from all walks of life.

Become a Nightstop MK Volunteer

Nightstop in Milton Keynes relies on the generosity of volunteer hosts and drivers. The hosts offer their spare bedrooms on a night-by-night basis and receive expenses payments to cover the additional cost of having another person in the house. The drivers collect the guests from an arranged location and take them to their accommodation for the night.
