Alan is C.E.O. of Causeway Irish Housing Association housing charity providing accommodation and support to young people across London, with a focus on migrants and refugees.
Prior to this Alan was Director of Housing and Support at Depaul, where he led DPUK’s supported housing services and developed Depaul national support policy. From 2003 to 2015 Alan was South East London Area Manager for St Mungo’s, where he managed a range of support services ranging from first stage hostels to hospital discharge units for street homeless people. Alan has keen interest in housing and support for LGBTQ youth and has led Causeway to become the UK’s largest housing provide of LGBTQ supported accommodation.
