DANIEL’S story

Daniel began living in care after he turned 16, so when he was 18 he was made homeless. Although Daniel’s family was still in his life, he was as good as on his own. He dropped out of college and moved from job to job, struggling with his mental health. When he was introduced to Depaul, all that changed.

How Depaul helped

Long Term Accommodation: Daniel was placed into long term accommodation with Depaul. Financial Navigation: Daniel was helped with financial guidance on things like budgeting and saving.. JUST £12 A MONTH could pay for a young person like Daniel to receive help with applying to college, finding a mentor to provide careers guidance and help to find stable housing prior to starting a Business & Finance course at university.
