The second year of the pandemic continued to have a deep impact on our clients, our staff and our volunteers. This shaped how Depaul UK responded to the challenges and opportunities we faced in 2021.
Homelessness remains a huge issue in England. Between April and June 2021, 66,040 households were initially assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness – up 1% from April to June 2020. Young people were hit particularly hard.
